Electronics Industry Wastewater Treatment Equipment

Anyone working in electronics factories knows that wastewater is a major headache – heavy metals like copper and nickel from PCB plating, acid and alkaline solutions used in chip etching, and other strange substances from inks and developers, all mixed together, making it toxic and difficult to treat. If not handled properly, exceeding environmental standards can lead to fines and production shutdowns, causing immense stress for factory owners. Wuxi Jingbo Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., a leading environmental equipment manufacturer rooted in China, is a reliable supplier dedicated to solving such industrial wastewater pain points, and our well-equipped factory ensures every piece of equipment is built to high standards. Wuxi Jingbo's Electronics Industry Wastewater Treatment Equipment is specifically designed for electronics factories.

Jingbo's Electronics Industry Wastewater Treatment Equipment treats wastewater in three steps, each precisely targeted. The first step is the "pre-treatment," removing the most troublesome pollutants: using coagulation equipment to clump together and settle out solids and some organic matter, and then using an iron-carbon tower to break down stubborn organic compounds. For difficult heavy metals like copper-EDTA, chemical agents can be added to break them down, achieving a removal rate of over 99%, otherwise the subsequent treatment systems wouldn't be able to handle it.

The middle step is the core process, relying on microorganisms to "eat" the organic matter. First, the wastewater enters a hydrolysis tank to break down large molecules into smaller ones, then it's sent to an aeration tank – where aerobic bacteria act like "cleaners," using oxygen to thoroughly break down the organic matter. If the wastewater concentration is particularly high, an anaerobic reactor can be added, not only treating pollution but also producing biogas that can be used as fuel, turning waste into valuable resources.

The final step is to purify the water so it can be reused. After passing through an ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis membrane system, most of the salts and residual pollutants are filtered out, resulting in very clear water that can be reused in cleaning and cooling equipment, saving significant water costs annually, with a reuse rate exceeding 70%. A final activated carbon treatment removes odors, and UV disinfection ensures the water quality is even better than tap water.

Product Advantages

This Electronics Industry Wastewater Treatment Equipment understands the challenges faced by electronics factories and can be customized with modular components – for example, adding a dedicated heavy metal recovery device to recover copper and nickel from the wastewater for resale, offsetting a significant portion of the costs. Moreover, the entire process doesn't require constant human supervision; the PLC system automatically adjusts the chemical dosage and monitors water quality.

Even if the wastewater composition changes due to product changes in the workshop, it can maintain stable treatment results and prevent sudden exceedances of discharge limits. The equipment is modular, like building blocks, so it can be installed even in small factory spaces. Operating costs, including chemical and sludge disposal costs, are significantly lower than with older equipment.
